A Charitable Cause - Sialidosis Research In hopes of raising money for the fight against Sialidosis, there will be a basket raffle and a Build-A-Bear raffle as well as merchandise with proceeds to McMaster University for Sialidosis Research. Emily Tieu is APW's inspiration for this cause. Eleven year old Emily has raised over $61,000 for research of a rare disorder that effects only one person in Canada - Tyler Hunealt, who suffers from sialidosis, a fatal enzyme disorder that causes toxins to build up in his body.
You will help fight sialidosis with the purchase of your event ticket - $1 from every ticket will be donated to the McMaster University for Sialidosis research
